Madison Thew-Keyworth

Madison Thew-Keyworth has worked professionally as a Director and Choreographer between Australia and New Zealand for more than 15 years. Prior to stepping on to the production side, Madison trained as an Actor with NIDA through their YAS program, trained in classical ballet from a young age and is a proud graduate of the school of hard knocks. Madison was part of the Australian National Tour of Calendar Girls, as well as having appeared in Gigi, Hello Dolly!, Cabaret, Grease, A Dream Play and The Gingerbread Lady.

On the production side, Madison’s show credits include Disenchanted!, Legally Blonde, Priscilla: Queen of the Desert and Chicago (MAT Australia), The Wizard of Oz and Mamma Mia! (VTA New Zealand). She is excited to be working as Creative Producer on the new Australian Musical “Li’l Elvis Jones and the Truckstoppers: The Musical”.

Madison is thrilled to spend her time instilling a love for the performing arts with up and coming talent at Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre where she has Directed / Choreographed The Addams Family, Oliver!, Singin’ in the Rain, The SpongeBob Musical, Beauty and the Beast, Seussical and Shrek to name a few.

Courtney Johnston

Courtney considers herself very lucky to perform and teach the arts as her fulltime career.

Courtney began her dance training at 3, she then went on to study a Bachelor of Fine Arts Dance at QUT then subsequently began her studies at the Brisbane Academy of Musical Theatre, graduating in 2015. In 2016 Courtney was lucky enough to tour Australia with Hairspray: The Arena Spectacular playing the role of Shelley and understudying Tracy Turnblad.

In 2017 Courtney played the role of Roxie Hart in Mad About Theatre’s production of Chicago, Valerie Clark in A Chorus Line (2018) and starred as Cinderella in the Australian Premiere of Disenchanted (2018).

On the Production side, Courtney has worked as Musical Director recently on Legally Blonde and Priscilla: Queen of the Desert (Mad About Theatre).

 

Nicole Kaminski

Nicole grew up in Perth, WA, before moving to Victoria to complete studies at FedUni Ballarat, graduating in 2015 with university credits including Urinetown, The Mystery of Edwin Drood, and the Title role in Thoroughly Modern Millie. After graduating, she performed predominantly in educational theatre, touring Australia with Alpha Shows. While living in Melbourne, she appeared in productions of Wicked, Beauty and the Beast, Heathers, Les Misérables, and the 2016 National Tour of The Sound of Music. Since moving to the Sunshine Coast, Nicole has appeared in Mamma Mia! The Musical and Legally Blonde, and choreographed Noosa Arts Theatre’s production of The Boy From Oz.

 

Madison Lee

Madison graduated from the Musical Theatre stream at Patrick Studios Australia in 2014  after studying under the guidance of Andrew Hallsworth.

Since graduating they have appeared in theatrical productions and tours such as A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM (Melbourne Shakespeare Company), SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER (StageArt), THE LAST FIVE QUEERS, I WON'T DANCE THE MUSICAL and MASTER'S OF CHOREOGRAPHY and LEGALLY BLONDE (Mad About Theatre).

As a Choreographer and Director, Madi has been fortunate enough to work Australia wide with many talented artists, creatives and performers. 

Madi was nominated for Best Choreography (The Wild Party) at the 2019 Sydney Theatre Awards and is currently working on the creative process of Anarchy; A New Australian Musical.

 

Tenai Quinn

You may recognise alumni Tenai from playing the roles of Cat in the Hat in Seussical and Lumiere in Beauty and the Beast at the annual SCYT Summer camps. Being able to return and teach the next generation of SCYT stars brings her so much joy! 

Tenai started her dance training at age 4 which naturally led to singing and acting too. In 2022 she graduated with a Diploma of Musical Theatre from The Raw Company under the Artistic Direction of So You Think You Can Dance Winner, Jack Chambers. 

Some of Tenai’s credits include Summer of the Seventeenth Doll (Noosa Arts Theatre), The Lord Mayors Christmas Carols (The Little Red Company), Brisbane AFL Grand Final halftime show, The Sound of Music (Noosa Arts Theatre), The Wizard of Oz and Hairspray The Arena Spectacular (Harvest Rain).
